Skills Scotland Scholarship for Business

At Heriot-Watt University, we are pioneers in education, committed to building partnerships that not only help businesses prepare for the future, but can also help them navigate the current crisis we are facing.

We are delighted to launch a new fully-funded Skills Scotland Scholarship programme, supported by the Scottish Funding Council, for working professionals living in Scotland.

The flexible remote working that many people are currently adapting to can also create opportunities for upskilling your workforce. Our Skills Scotland Scholarship offers your employees access to masters-level courses from our MBA programme, across a range of key business disciplines.

The courses on offer are new for 2020 and have been developed specifically to help businesses improve their productivity through the upskilling and re-skilling of key employees. Your employees will study online, at a pace that suits them, and have full access to our state-of-the-art online learning platform.

This new scheme strengthens Heriot-Watt’s ability to offer practical and flexible work-based learning building on our leading position in the delivery of Graduate Apprenticeships.
The initial pilot offers our existing business community the unique opportunity for your employees to access a range of five masters-level courses:

Delivering Successful Projects

Leadership, Theory and Practice

Financial Decision Making

People, Work and Organisations

Strategic Marketing

We’re also working hard behind the scenes to develop the learning options we provide to business. Look out for further developments soon!
