Michael Shaw is a former journalist who is currently product director at TES, (previously the Times Educational Supplement) responsible for expanding its global network of teachers.

 Michael joined TES as a news reporter in 2002 then edited its news and comment pages before becoming deputy editor. He moved across into the technology side in 2013, launching a range of digital projects including the TES magazine and TES Jobs apps for iOS and Android. Michael has worked with the former schools minister Lord Jim Knight, on creating a social learning system for teacher development, creating successful courses with London's UCL Institute of Education and the Open University.

Appointed to the Edinburgh Business School Board on 12th May 2017.
